As of 1 October 2023, the providers of sexual health services in Newcastle are changing to include both face to face and secure digital access to free and confidential care and support for anyone aged 13 and over.
The clinical service will continue to be available on an appointment basis from New Croft House on Market Street in Newcastle City centre to include:
· Pregnancy testing
· Contraceptive services
· STI testing and treatment
· Specialist services focusing on young people / ethnic minority groups.
The new digital service will give service users online access to:
· Online appointment booking
· STI self-sampling e-service
· Remote prescribing and dispensing of contraception
· Video consultations
· Online portal for patient self-assessment
